Smiling Loft Apartments are a student residence in Ferrara, an accommodation solution for students coming from outside Ferrara equipped with all comforts and an enviable historical charm!
The student residence is located on the top floor of Palazzo Gulinelli, in Corso Ercole I d’Este, a recently restored ancient noble building. Since 2014 it has been the location of the Smiling International Experimental 4-year Linguistic Liceo.
The tenants of the Smiling Loft Apartments stay in large rooms with private bathrooms and share common areas such as the kitchen and dining room, the relaxation area and the laundry room, all with modern equipment.
These are 12 rooms with a study corner and private bathroom, overlooking Corso Ercole I d’Este or the large private internal park. On the top floor of the building there is a splendid terrace that offers a beautiful view over the whole city.
The building, rooms and common areas are accessed with a unique magnetic card which, when inserted and left in the electronic reader inside the room, also activates the electricity.
At the moment, the use of these spaces is regulated by the anti Covid-19 regulations.

The monthly rent for apartments and rooms for students includes: utilities, weekly cleaning of common areas, weekly room cleaning and weekly change of bed linen.

For students who travel around the city of Ferrara by bicycle, a deposit is reserved for its storage, which can be accessed from the entrance in Palazzo Gulinelli in Via Ercole d’Este 15C.

The train station is 1.6 km away from Palazzo Gulinelli, and can be easily reached in 10 minutes by bus or 15 minutes by foot.
Near the building there are various paying car parks: the San Guglielmo car park, the Diamanti car park, the Piazza Fausto Beretta car park and the Piazzetta Previati car park.
