What about when the school day ends?

We take care of your children’s time with engaging, fun, and playful extra-school activities. Basketball and sports dance are our proposals to occupy the children’s time at the end of lessons.

Why choosing sport for the extracurricular life of students? Sport is movement and fun, it is an educational course open to all, essential for the well-being of children. A moment for engagement and an opportunity to learn how to socialize.

For the after-school time we offer English courses for external students. Our courses are directed at Cambridge qualifications, recognized by universities and companies around the world.

MICROBASKET LESSONS

In collaboration with the Ferrara Asd Basketball School, basketball courses are catered at children aged 5 to 7. For them it will be a fun and dynamic experience, with motivated and well-trained instructors.
A group activity, to learn how to socialize and embrace the positive values of sport.

The venue for the activities is the gym in via Porta Mare, on Monday and Wednesday from 4.45pm to 5.45pm.

SPORTS DANCE: MUCCA DANCE

Mucca Dancesport is a time at the end of the day when children dance, play and have fun to the rhythm of music. The teachers Stefan Green and Domenico Aliberti are internationally qualified experts and finalists in the world championship of sports dance.

Sports dance is a sport for everyone that offers fun, emotions, well-being, and not just that! It improves children’s psychomotor abilities, conditional and coordination skills.
Mucca Dancesport course is aimed at children from 3 to 7 years old.

Lessons take place from 4.35pm to 5.35pm in the gym of Corso Porta Mare 117.

ENGLISH COURSES

Smiling International School excels in preparing students for Cambridge English Qualifications.
Thanks to increasingly complex exams, candidates develop and strengthen their language skills. Courses are structured at several levels, from the most elementary ones for Primary School children, to the more complex ones that prepare for the Proficiency exam, level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The English courses are annual and take place from October to May.
