“Estate dei bambini in Piazza”

La festa estiva si svolge dal 3 al 9 settembre in Piazza XXIV Maggio. In questa piazza ci saranno spettacoli teatrali, “uno swap shop”, giochi di travestimento, storie, arti e mestieri, un piccolo bar e molto altro ancora.
IMPORTANTE
Per partecipare a tutte queste attività è necessario acquistare un biglietto famiglia chiamato “Tessera Familiare”. Il costo è di 15 euro che consente a tutta la tua famiglia di partecipare a una qualsiasi di queste attività durante tutti e cinque i giorni (indipendentemente dal numero di figli che hai). Ti permette anche di andare alle rappresentazioni teatrali di Festabà. Esiste anche la “tessera familiare” con validità 1 giorno, al costo di 10 euro. La tessera può essere acquistata presso lo stand informativo il 1 ° settembre in Piazza Trento Trieste, oppure durante la manifestazione presso l’ingresso di Piazza XXIV Maggio.

Il mercato europeo si tiene vicino a San Giorgio e al vecchio ospedale. Se non riesci a trovarlo, segui il meraviglioso profumo della focaccia italiana, dei waffle olandesi o della paella spagnola e scopri gli stand di artigianatoproveniente da tanti paesi europei. Assapora l’atmosfera e goditi una birra tedesca e cena la sera in uno dei numerosi ristoranti e bar allestiti intorno alla piazza, o per un’esperienza più tranquilla puoi visitare il mercato la mattina presto.

Questo è il più importante festival di mongolfiere in Italia e uno dei più importanti in Europa. È sicuramente una settimana entusiasmante a Ferrara per i bambini che amano guardar decollare i palloni colorati e avvistare quelli dalle forme insolite che volano sopra la città.
Le mongolfiere decollano la mattina verso le 7:30 e poi una seconda volta nel pomeriggio verso le 17:00.

Le gite in mongolfiera devono essere prenotate con largo anticipo, coloro che preferiscono che i loro piedi restino saldamente a terra non possono comunque perdersi il “Night glow”, uno spettacolo davvero emozionante che si svolge il sabato sera alle 21:30.
Il parco ospita anche una gran varietà di stand pubblicitari, dimostrazioni, esibizioni sportive e di danza, attrazioni fieristiche, l’area espositiva dell’Aeronautica italiana, un mercato e diversi stand gastronomici. Troverete anche la “Città Magica” – un’area rinascimentale con gare di bandiere, balli rinascimentali, bancarelle di artigianato e ristoranti.

The summer party continues from 3rd – 9th September in Piazza XXIV Maggio. In this enormous piazza there are theatre performances, “a swap shop”, dressing-up games, story time, arts and crafts, a small bar and much, much more.
IMPORTANT
To take part in all these activities you need to buy a family ticket called a “Tessera Familiare”. It costs 15 euro which allows all your family to take part in any of these activities during the whole five days (independent of how many children you have). It also allows you to go to the Festabà theatre performances below. If you do not think that you would return each day then you could buy a single day family card which costs 10 euro.
This card can be bought from the information stand on 1st September in Piazza Trento Trieste but also from 3rd September onwards at the entrance to Piazza XXIV Maggio when you arrive.

The European Market is held near San Giorgio and the old hospital. If you can’t find it just follow the wonderful smell of Italian focaccia, Dutch waffles or Spanish paella cooking and discover a variety of crafts, English fine bone china, jewelry, flowers and other European products. Soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a German beer and dinner in the evening at one of the many restaurants and bars set up around the piazza, or for a quieter experience visit the market early morning.

This is the most important hot air balloon festival in Italy and one of the most important ballooning events in Europe. It is certainly an exciting week in Ferrara for the children, who love watching the colourful balloons take off and spotting the unusual shaped ones as they fly over the city.
They take off early in the morning at about 7.30 a.m. and then for a second time at around 5 p.m. onwards. Visit the website below for the programme of events each day.
Hot air balloon rides need to be booked well in advance but for those who prefer their feet to stay firmly on the ground the “Night Glow” is truly an impressive sight and takes place on Saturdays at 9.30 p.m. Hot air balloons are inflated and glow in the night whilst music plays in the background.
The park also hosts a variety of publicity stands, demonstrations, sport and dance exhibitions, fairground attractions, the Italian Air force exhibition area, a market and places to eat. There is also la “Città Magica” – a Renaissance area with flag- waving competitions, Renaissance dancing, craft stalls and restaurants.

September and October represent a last opportunity to visit these beautiful woods before winter arrives. This exclusive tour, by electric coach, takes you into the heart of the woods which are usually closed to the public. It is possible to see the Mesola deer and other wildlife and fauna which are unique to these woods. It really makes a lovely trip.

Have you ever tried eating stinging nettles? Malalbergo provides a historical menu of nettles cooked in a variety of ways. There are also lots of interesting things going on in the village too. It is on the way to Bologna but not too far from Ferrara and is certainly worth a visit.
